My research focuses primarily on the study of the Kradai and the Sino-Tibetan language families. I am currently working on the Kradai languages spoken on the Hainan Island of China. I am also very interested in the archaeology and history of East Asia and Southeast Asia. I also have some research experience with Taiwanese Southern Min (Chinese).
